Hello, everyone!

We are a student production team creating a gripping psychological thriller short film for a production class. We are currently casting several key roles for our upcoming film, Sisters.

Because this is a high-intensity psychological thriller, we are looking for actors who are comfortable expressing very raw, intense emotions on camera.

Project overview
Sisters is a dark, intense psychological thriller exploring the devastating impact of identity theft, childhood comparison, and obsessive love. The story follows Livia, a twin who has spent her entire life living in the shadow of her sister, Sophia. When Livia discovers that her boyfriend, Alex, and her best friend, Mia, have been secretly manipulating her appearance to mold her into a replica of Sophia, her fragile psyche shatters. What starts as domestic tension quickly spirals into a lethal game of revenge.

Characters (We are especially looking for female actors for Sophia and Mia right now!)
・Livia (screen age: 20-23 / Lead Role / Female): Vulnerable and deeply insecure. After discovering a devastating betrayal, she transforms into a cold, calculating force. (Requires high emotional range: vulnerability to intense rage.
・Alex (screen age: 22-25 / Main Role / Male): Livia’s boyfriend. Attentive on the surface, but harbors a dark obsession with Sophia, trying to reshape Livia into her image. (Requires portraying a complex, manipulative character who unravels).
・Sophia (screen age: 20-23 / Supporting Role / Female): Livia’s confident, magnetic sister. Completely oblivious to the danger until she is dragged into the center of the conflict.
・Mia (screen age: 20-23 / Supporting Role / Female): Livia’s energetic best friend who secretly acts as Alex’s accomplice under the guise of “helping”.
・Josh (screen age: 22-27 / Minor Role / Male): Alex’s casual, easygoing co-worker. (1 short scene, minimal dialogue)

Shoot dates & Location
Must have good availability for the following weekend blocks (exact times and locations TBD):
・Dates: July 4, 5, 11 & 12
・Location: within Tokyo Area

Compensation
Unpaid / Student Project: self-funded university assignment; no acting fee provided.
