Independent filmmaker, Dave Jackson is looking to cast a major supporting role in his next feature film.

／／LOGLINE ／／
A young woman leaves her small country town to work for a corporate English school chain and finds herself dealing with shitty co-workers, a shitty boss, and a murderous cult trying to drink her blood.
英会話スクールの仕事を始めるために都会に出てきた若い女性が最低な同僚、最低な上司、そして彼女の血を吸おうとする殺人カルト集団に立ち向かう。

／／ About the role ／／
Somewhat directionless and looking for an exciting change, Sophie decides to move to Japan on a whim. She gets a job at an English school ‘Eigo Let’s Go’, where she becomes fast friends with the main character, Yua.
Sophie is laid back but doesn’t suffer fools gladly... she’s also kind of a mess and a clutz, constantly spilling food on herself.
Though the film is a black comedy horror, at the center of the story is the friendship between Yua and Sophie.
人生目的がはっきりしていなく、ふいに思い立って日本へ来る。マイペースでのんびり屋さんに見えるが、自分軸ははっきりしている子。おっちょこちょいで、食べ物をよくこぼす。

／／ About Dave Jackson ／／
Dave Jackson is an independent film maker from Australia. His debut feature film ‘Cat Sick Blues’ has been shown at numerous film festivals around the world, with DVD and Blu-Ray releases in regions such as USA, Australia, Japan, Italy and Germany. He has lived in Osaka, Japan since 2016, working on music videos for local artists. His short film ‘Gacha Gacha’ shot in 2018, premiered at Fantasia Fest in Montreal.
Him and his team are in pre-production for his next feature, scheduled to be shot in Jan/Feb of 2026.

オーストラリア出身のインディペンデント映画監督。2016 年に「キャットシックブルー
ス」で長編デビュー。同年、日本へ移住。大阪で英語教師として働きながら、 ミュージシャンの PV などを手掛けてきた。
