短編映画キャスト募集　８月予定（英語・日本語）

自主制作短編映画のキャストを募集します。
監督は英語を母国語としています。日本語もある程度できますが、英語を少しでも話せると助かります。また、より流暢な英語を必要とするバイリンガルの役もあります。

【作品内容】
とある雑誌の撮影現場。アートディレクターのGOROは、わがままなモデルやカメラマンをまとめるのに苦戦する。そこへ、死んだ父親の亡霊まで現れて……。ワンカット、10分程度の短編映画です。

【撮影時期】
10月予定。週末を利用して撮影されます。

★安全を考慮し、撮影日は出演者が予防接種を完了する時期に合わせて決定します。

CASTING CALL – SHORT FILM - PAID
We are looking for a diverse cast of actors for our short film.
The director is a native English speaker, so but it would be helpful if you can speak a little English as well. There are also some bilingual roles that require more fluency in English, please see below for details.

Synopsis
On the set of a magazine shoot. GORO, a veteran art director, struggles to hold together his quarrelsome crew of narcissistic models and belligerent photographers. To top things off, the ghost of his dead father appears just for the fun of watching his useless son fail.

Details
We plan to shoot this in one cut, so a professional attitude is necessary.
Expected runtime 8 – 10 minutes.

Scheduled to be shot in October, over a single weekend to account for rehearsal and set up time.
e.g.
　　Saturday: Rehearsals
　　Sun: Rehearsal and filming

For safety reasons, filming dates will be confirmed once cast and crew have completed their vaccinations.

Appearance fee:
10,000 yen (including travel expenses, two days of work)


Cast
We are looking for the following cast members:
GORO (Lead, art director)
Goro is dedicated to his craft, he has lived his life in the fashion world and is determined to make his mark on it.
40 years or older, male, bilingual (Japanese and English dialogue)

YAN (photographer)
A little obnoxious and self-assured, Yan takes s**t from no one, not even his own equipment! A self-styled ladies’ man. Prone to an explosive temper.
20-40 years old, male, English dialogue only (accented dialogue is a plus, either European, Latin, South-African etc.)

MAN (GORO's dead father)
A disdainful old man, who even after death takes joy in berating his son and watching his dreams collapse, just as he said they would.
Over 50, male, (Japanese dialogue only)

ERINA (Model)
Everything is about Erina, she is easily upset and an emotional rollercoaster. Ability to cry on camera is a plus.
20’s or 30’s, female, Japanese dialogue only.

HARUKA (Magazine Editor)
Standard office lady, straight laced and relatable, she spends her time balancing the needs of the fashion magazine and her chaotic clients.
Late 20s - 50s, female, Japanese dialogue only.

AKIRA (ERINA’s ex-boyfriend)
A physical or sporty person, can seem intimidating, fashionable long hair or tattoos are a plus but not a necessity.
Male, 20s-30s, Japanese dialogue only.

Audition Method
We are planning to conduct online interviews via ZOOM or possibly in person later this month.
