(Synopsis)
Diana Sato (41), originally from Hong Kong, lived in Tokyo with her son, Eiji (8).
To secure her son's future, Diana started a Chinese conversation class as a side job. Taku Nagayasu (35), a Japanese man from the Lost Generation who couldn't find his place in life, joined the class. Influenced by Diana, Taku began to look beyond Japan. But at the same time, a major crisis was unfolding in Diana's hometown of Hong Kong, one that would shake the world...

This film was submitted to over 13 film festivals worldwide in 2024 and has won a total of 32 film awards (including finalist nominations).
Based on the real events of the “Hong Kong Democracy Protests” that occurred in Hong Kong from 2019 to 2020, this docudrama realistically depicts the collapse of Hong Kong's One Country, Two Systems policy alongside the challenges faced by Japan's Lost Generation, while simultaneously portraying the cross-cultural exchange between Hong Kongers and Japanese.
