青山学院大学放送研究部自主制作映画「SLEDGEHAMM:ER」より、急遽追加キャストを募集させていただきます。

現在青山学院大学放送研究部では2年生を中心に自主制作映画「SLEDGEHAMM:ER」を製作しています。本作はクリエイターズ三部作第二弾にあたり、異文化コミュニケーションと身体表現をモチーフに創造と表象の本質を追求する作品になっています。監督、脚本、編集は前作「ERAS:ER」に引き続き中佐古心が担当します。以下、あらすじになります。

【あらすじ】
大学生の青年はダンスサークルの一員として、全国コンテストにチームメイトと共に参加する。そこで彼はある外国人ダンサーのパフォーマンスを見る。どこか違う領域にあるかのようなその演舞に強く惹かれた青年は、今まで信じていたものとは別の何かを追い求めるようになる。

そんな中、突如としてあらゆる物の色が変わり始め、世界は混乱に陥る。自己開示と調和を求め、社会は何を目撃するのか。表現の時空を超えた新章が今、始まる。



今回募集させていただく役は本作序盤で主人公の翔太郎が英語ディスカッションの授業を受ける際の外国人教授になります。セリフは多くはありませんし、難しいやりとり等はないのですが、翔太郎と異文化の距離感を示す非常に重要な場面になります。以下、応募条件になります

１,英語スピーキングが問題なくできる方

3,5月23日土曜日の午前中の撮影に参加できる方
4,40代以上の方

[Emergency Casting Call for Indie Short Film "SLEDGEHAMM:ER"]
Hello. We are the Aoyama Gakuin University Broadcasting Society. We are currently producing an independent short film titled "SLEDGEHAMM:ER" (directed, written, and edited by Shin Nakasako).
This project is the second installment of our "Creators Trilogy," exploring the essence of creation and representation through the motifs of intercultural communication and physical expression. Our previous work is "ERAS:ER."
We are urgently looking for a foreign actor/actress to play the role of a University Professor for a critical scene shooting this Saturday morning.

■ LOGLINE / SYNOPSIS
A young university student and dancer participates in a national contest with his teammates. There, he witnesses a performance by a foreign dancer. Deeply captivated by the dance—which seems to belong to an entirely different realm—the young man begins to pursue something beyond everything he once believed in.
Meanwhile, the colors of the world suddenly begin to shift, plunging society into confusion. In search of self-disclosure and harmony, what will the world witness? A new chapter that transcends the space-time of expression begins now.
■ THE ROLE
Foreign University Professor
This is a brief but highly essential scene at the beginning of the film where the protagonist, Shotaro, takes an English discussion class. There are not many lines, and no complex dialogue is required, but this role is crucial in visualizing the cultural distance and atmosphere.
Initially, we envisioned a male professor, but we highly welcome female applicants as well.
■ REQUIREMENTS
English: Fluent/Native-level English speaker.
Background: Must have international/foreign roots.
Availability: Must be available to shoot on the morning of Saturday, May 23, 2026.
Age: 40s or older (or look the part).
■ LOCATION
Location: Tokyo (Details will be provided directly to the selected actor)
Selection Process: To speed up the process for this urgent shoot, we will bypass the usual Google Meet interviews and select the actor based on the profile provided.
